NOTE Regarding Screen Sizes: We recommend that fireplace screens be at least 2" wider (1" per side) and 1" taller than your fireplace opening.
The width measurements for folding screens are the total width of the screen when it is stretched out flat. Therefore, folding screens need to be about 8" wider
than your opening in order to stand up on their own after the side panels have been angled back. This will give you the 1" extra width on each side that you need.
